From 18 to 20 June, OKOndt GROUP took part in the 11th International Railway Exhibition, Eurasia Rail 2025, held in Istanbul. The company showcased its advanced high-speed rail inspection solutions, as well as its modern ultrasonic and eddy current flaw detectors. These detectors are used for non-destructive testing (NDT) of rails, welds, axles, and other components of railway wagons and locomotives.
Specialists from OKOndt GROUP and Ulutepe Demiryolu Makinalari, a Turkish distributor, provided visitors with advice on the application and pricing of rail flaw detection equipment. They also handed out informational materials on various types of flaw detectors.
Ufuk Yalçın, the General Director of TCDD, the Turkish State Railway Company, visited the OKOndt GROUP exhibition stand. Mr Yalçın thanked them for supplying the OKOSCAN UT/ET 73HS System for ultrasonic testing (UT) and eddy current (ET) inspection of railway tracks in Turkey.

The OKOndt GROUP stand was a hub for active communication among railway industry specialists
Railway NDT Equipment from OKOndt GROUP at Eurasia Rail 2025
- The key exhibit at the stand was UDS2-77 RSUI, a single-rail ultrasonic flaw detector. Its functionality and ease of use drew significant attention from visitors. OKOndt GROUP specialists demonstrated the capability of the device to detect artificial defects in rails. They did this in a live presentation.
- The stand also featured portable railway NDT devices for ultrasonic testing of rails and welds, including USR-01 scanner for inspecting welded rail joints and Sonocon BL ultrasonic flaw detector.
- One of the topics that was discussed the most among visitors of the exhibition stand was the continuous rail inspection performed using the high-speed OKOSCAN UT 73HS System. This System can inspect rails and turnouts at speeds of up to 40 km/h and detect all types of defects in accordance with international standards.

During the exhibition, specialists from the railway industry and potential customers alike expressed strong interest in the equipment showcased by OKOndt GROUP. This highlighted the ongoing demand for modern, efficient NDT instruments, including those designed for ultrasonic rail testing. OKOndt GROUP also held meetings with several companies to discuss opportunities for cooperation, pilot trials, and potential deliveries of rail testing equipment across the Eurasian region.
