From May 20 to 22, 2025, Indianapolis, Indiana, hosted Railway Interchange 2025, the premier rail industry exhibition in North America. Among the key exhibitors of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment was OKOndt GROUP, a developer and global supplier, which unveiled its most recent innovations in rail testing to a broad international audience.
At the OKOndt GROUP booth, visitors explored an extensive portfolio of NDT solutions for inspecting rails and rolling stock components, including:
- the OKOSCAN 73HS System for continuous rail test inspection while maintaining full operational traffic;
- the ETS2-73 flaw detector, making its U.S. debut, a dual-rail handheld trolleys for eddy current rail inspection to detect headchecks;
- the tried-and-tested railway inspection handheld trolleys—UDS2-77 (single-rail) and UDS2-73 (double-rail) ultrasonic flaw detectors—both known for their accuracy in detecting internal defects in railway tracks.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, OKOndt GROUP specialists answered visitors' technical questions and demonstrated the operation of ultrasonic and eddy current flaw detectors.
