OKOndt GROUP has announced its participation in the international aviation exhibition MRO Middle East & Aircraft Interiors Middle East 2026, which will take place on 4–5 February 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), UAE.
As part of the event, OKOndt GROUP will be presenting the SMARTSCAN FA Aircraft Wheel Inspection System at its stand. This automated eddy current equipment is designed for inspecting aircraft wheels. It reliably detects surface and near-surface cracks, ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency in inspections.
The SMARTSCAN FA System is compliant with ISO 15548-1, supports a wide range of aircraft and helicopter wheel types, and is designed for both main and nose wheel inspection in aviation maintenance environments. The System delivers fast, repeatable, and consistent inspection results that meet modern aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) requirements.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to test the EDDYCON CL, a portable eddy current flaw detector developed and manufactured by OKOndt GROUP. This compact device is widely used in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. It allows inspectors to rapidly and accurately detect cracks in critical aircraft components at manufacturing facilities, in maintenance hangars, and directly under operational conditions.
